SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2025–26: Apply Now for a Life-Changing Rural Development Program
The SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2025–26 is now open for applications. This is a unique 13-months opportunity for young individuals who are passionate about social impact and rural development. Organized by the SBI Foundation, the fellowship allows selected candidates to work on grassroots projects in partnership with leading NGOs across India.
What is the SBI Youth for India Fellowship?
The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is a prestigious rural development program designed to connect the youth of India with the challenges of rural life. Fellows live and work in rural areas, contributing to impactful projects in fields like education, healthcare, environment, women empowerment, agriculture, and technology.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the 2025–26 fellowship, applicants must:
Be aged 21 to 32 years as of the program start date (born between August 5, 1993, and October 6, 2004)
Be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
Have completed a Bachelor’s degree before October 1, 2025
Fellowship Benefits
Selected fellows will receive the following:
Monthly stipend of ₹16,000 for living expenses
Travel allowance of ₹2,000 per month
Project allowance of ₹1,000 per month
One-time readjustment allowance of ₹90,000 after program completion
3AC train fare to and from the project location
Comprehensive insurance coverage
