The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) posts in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electrical & Mechanical disciplines. Eligible candidates can apply online for this central government job from 30th June 2025 to 21st July 2025.

📌 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering depending on the post. Some posts also require 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Age Limit: Most posts – up to 30 years; CPWD – up to 32 years (as on 01-01-2026)
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules (OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, etc.)

📝 Exam Pattern
Paper 1 (Objective - 200 Marks):
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 questions
- General Awareness – 50 questions
- General Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) – 100 questions
Paper 2 (Objective - 300 Marks): Based on selected engineering discipline
Negative Marking: 0.25 in Paper-I, 1 mark in Paper-II
